Brisbane Roar announce the re-signing of key striker Besart Berisha for another two A-League seasons

The Albanian international, who has already scored 13 goals this season, said last month he wanted to stay in Brisbane.

"The important thing is that I enjoy being in Brisbane and I really want to stay," Berisha said.

But with overseas interest in Berisha's services, Roar coach Ange Postecoglou was relieved to have finally completed the deal.

"I'm pretty happy to get him signed on for another couple of years," the Roar mentor said.

The club will confirm the signing on Wednesday.
